Conegliano’s wine school, founded in 1876, has a modern wine cellar and a large vineyard where the one time director, Professor Luigi Manzoni, invented the well-known “Incrocio Manzoni.” The school produces many wines, from Prosecco to the Incrocio Manzoni Bianco. Although its primary mission is didactic, they also produce wine and it’s possible to taste and purchase wines upon request. A variety of wine-related events take place at the school, such as the Calici di Vini in June and Conegliano con Gusto in November, where you can taste wine and other products of the territory.
